Class of 1970 Mid-winter Dinner Friday, February 23 at the Nassau Club in Princeton.
We'll begin with open bar cocktails at 6:30 pm sharp - nibbles will be available. Our distinguished speaker this year will be Dr. Bernard Haykel, Professor and Director of the Program in Near Eastern Studies. Dr. Haykel will speak on "The Middle East: Why the Mess and What Comes Next". Dr. Haykel will speak directly after the main course.
The bar will close promptly at 7:30, immediately followed by a sit-down dinner with a set menu. If you want to have a drink or three at the bar, plan to arrive at the Nassau Club promptly. We will adjourn when we adjourn, after some class business, and with the singing of Old Nassau. The cost of cocktails and dinner will be $95.00 per person, which you should send by check payable to Princeton Class of 1970 c/o our treasurer Robert Ridolfi, 26 Harbourton-Woodsville Rd., Pennington, NJ 08534 (firstname.lastname@example.org).
You may also pay in person at the door, if you must, but advance reservations are most strongly requested so we can give the Nassau Club a reasonable estimate of the numbers attending.
We will also have a short presentation following Professor Haykel's talk by our classmate Howard Bell concerning "Project Future". Detailed information regarding this community service initiative can be found in our email to the class dated January 1, 2018. See also Project Future website projfutr.org

Service of Remembrance, Saturday, February 24. As you know from our series of emails, a number of our Classmates have passed during the last year. Each of our departed Classmates will be named and remembered in the program for the Service. This is always a beautiful and moving event.
2018 REUNIONS, Thursday/Sunday May 31-June 3. Our 48th?! As those who attended our 47th last year can attest, off year reunions are sometimes the best occasions to see old friends in relative calm and actually converse without being hoarse for the following week. So plan to join us!
