The Great Forty-Eighth Reunion - The Great Class of 1970


DATES:  Thursday, May 31 to Sunday, June 3, 2018

LOCATION:  Your guess is as good as ours at this point, but likely the same place as the 47th - Holder.?

REGISTRATION & FEES:  If nothing changes... No Registration Fee!  You can register for free, and register one adult guest for free.  As "satellite" class members, we will register and get wristbands at Alexander Hall, then proceed to Holder to sign our Class Book and get name buttons. Satellite classes no longer register at their host reunion headquarters.  In any event, please email Bruce Millman to let him know you are coming so we can accurately plan food and beverages for our events.  You're still welcome if you forget, but we do appreciate the courtesy.

ROOMS:  Our ???? campus beds are spoken for.  If we become aware of available beds on campus, we will send an email and update this website.

Friday, June 2
8 am - Guided Bird Walk, Limited to 15 people, priority for Class of 1970 members and their guests
Location:  Charles H. Rogers Wildlife Refuge (Take Alexander Road towards Rte 1, make a right on West Drive, just before Stony Brook and the bridge over the canal).
6pm - Barbecue with Class of '68, '69, '71, and '73
Location: Hamilton Courtyard
$35 per person, payable on line or at the door.  If you're not paying online, PLEASE email Bruce Millman to let us know you are coming!  (We need a count)
Saturday, May 28
1:30 pm:  Assemble for the P-Rade (behind Nassau Hall)
2:00 pm:  Start of the P-Rade

ENTERTAINMENT:  Aside from the great company of good friends, bountiful beer, lectures, seminars, concerts, a capella groups, and fireworks, we'll have the One and Only P-Rade, of course, with Gov. Belcher in his new set of clothes, not to be missed, and the One and Only '70-Pede!

"Café  '70" is a quiet place to sip a cup of coffee, and perhaps enjoy a pastry or snack. Open Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, afternoon and at night after the band begins playing, and again Saturday morning and Saturday night.  Café '70 will be located in Hamilton Courtyard at night, and in Holder or Hamilton during the morning and afternoon, depending on noise level and other considerations.  Look for signs.
